Low Birth Weight Before Obesity
Abstract
Low birth weight (LBW) is defined when the post-gestational product weighs less than 2500 g, this fact is very important because it predicts the development of obesity from the first months of life, during adolescence or in adulthood. Several factors are involved in triggering this pathology, such as adipocytokines, which modify their expression by altering their molecularpathways.
