Abstract

In this project some passive microwave devices will be designed and their behavior will be analyzed through simulation and circuit elaboration. Likewise, we will study the behavior of the different types of micro-tapes (patch antennas), as well as their radiation pattern, how the shape of the antenna affects it and the different types of arrangements and behavior of the transmission lines formed by micro-tapes. (Microstrip). The geometric shape of the antenna involves a transmission line analysis so we are looking for a mathematical expression that describes the fields specifically for certain geometries. For this, a study has been carried out to design a patch fed by means of the Microstrip line and coaxial probe, all this with the help of the necessary simulation tools. Antennas for the operation of cellular and WiFi signals will also be designed, with different types of measurements, in order to study their behavior through their resonance, and to determine their gain and bandwidth of each type of antenna.
