Abstract

Polycystic ovarian syndrome has multiple causes, which is why it is still difficult to reach an accurate diagnosis and for this reason it depends on a set of clinical and biochemical variables that help define it as syndrome.

Endocrine disruptors are environmental factors that can trigger hormonal dysregulation such as polycystic ovarian syndrome and that will depend a lot on what conditions you were exposed to and at what point in life you were; and they play a fundamental role in hormonal regulation and also affect the patient’s lifestyle, which requires further investigation into the duration of the effect and under what conditions to take action at the moment the patient.
