Abstract
Oxygen concentrators are an essential asset in the care of diseases and conditions that affect respiratory function in a sudden, epidemic, endemic or chronic situation. Adsorption processes are a promising research and development field in basic, materials, and health science; they are also important inchemical, energy, mechanical, electronic and control engineering. Concentrators occupy a growing niche in the oxygen market especially when it is convenient or necessary to produce oxygen at the site of use. We developed a small concentrator prototype and plan to take firm steps to commercialize it. Developments like this are of high social significance.
