Superfibras tejiendo el futuro
Abstract
Smart fibers represent an advanced generation of materials that offer innovative and sustainable solutions in the evolution of textile fabrics. Smart fibers respond in a controlled and predictable manner to stimuli caused by changes in temperature, pH, electrical energy, pressure, humidity, light exposure, and more. Their responsiveness is primarily attributed to their composition and preparation methods. The types of intelligence that a fiber material can exhibit are not dissimilar to the various forms of intelligence observed in humans. In an analogous way, this document weaves a correlation between psychological intelligences and the different forms of intelligence present in fibers, threads, or textiles. Additionally, it introduces a fabric that reflects cutting-edge ideas and pioneering contributions in the design and application of these fascinating, challenging, and futuristic materials.
